Halloween Influencer Campaign for EUROPA radio plays
Crafting Fun in a Holiday Home with Hedda Hex
“Experience real spooky fun in the holiday home: The idea of combining the latest radio play episode of Hedda Hex with a DIY theme and a stay at Landal GreenParks immediately appealed to me. A collaboration like this is a win-win for everyone involved.”
Claudia Schaumann, blogger and Spiegel best-selling author
The task
Just in time for Halloween, EUROPA Hörspiele releases the new episode of the beloved series Hedda Hex: “Hui Buh rettet Halloween” (“Hui Buh Saves Halloween”). Our challenge is to integrate the little witch’s adventures into the seasonal event and engage parents.
The implementation
Halloween is crafting time. Mom influencers with a knack for DIY know the best decoration ideas and spookiest recipes for Halloween. While they make “sausage mummies” and ghost decorations with their children, Hedda Hex plays in the background.
We select four influencers with a particular penchant for DIY and handicrafts for the campaign. At the same time, Claudia from the blog “Was für mich” travels to our customer Landals’ Hof van Saksen holiday resort to spend a great autumn holiday with her family, with lots of Hedda Hex spooky fun planned in their holiday home.
The result
Dressed up as ghosts and witches, the children craft bats and mummy lanterns, and prepare delicious spooky snacks: These emotionally resonant scenes, complemented by captivating audio clips from the radio play, form the content that influencers share, receiving enthusiastic responses from their followers. The campaign garners 186,000 views and numerous engaging comments.
Thanks to Claudia’s co-authored post “Was für mich”, Landal and EUROPA Hörspiele are also able to benefit from an additional reach – particularly among the congruent target group of families with children.
